The Innovation and Opportunity Network (ION) is a community of people, practitioners, programs, partnerships and stakeholders that collectively thrive for system capacity building and excellence of the public workforce system. The ION is a national, regional, state and local alliance that provides and participates in technical assistance and training that moves the collective towards the vision of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) that was signed into law in 2014.
The Partnerships CoP is intended for staff, volunteers, community leaders, and anyone else involved and interested in the efforts of community organizations, worker centers, religious institutions, nonprofits, and other groups committed to helping all Americans succeed in the labor market. This CoP is managed by the Department of Labor's Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
The Unemployment Insurance Community of Practice (UI CoP) is a private community available exclusively to state and federal UI practitioners. The UI CoP is intended to expand opportunities for states to communicate and collaborate with each other, and to help the UI community in creating, building and sharing knowledge.
