Are you eager to talk about what Transformational Wednesdays mean for you, your work, and our agency? Join our ETA colleagues in a study group designed to review and discuss key concepts from our October 2006 Transformational Wednesdays sessions. We will share the insights we gained in October and brainstorm how we can all apply these concepts to our work!

  • October 4 kick off session: Assistant Secretary DeRocco shared her vision regarding the important role learning and innovative thinking play in transforming our work at ETA. Rita Bailey shared her “4A model” for personal learning and professional development.

  • October 11: Deputy Assistant Secretary Mason Bishop gave insights into the nature of a changing economy and the impact on the workforce system.

  • October 18: Ed Morrison and Region 3 Regional Administrator Helen Parker led a fascinating session on collaborative leadership and social networking.

  • October 25: Robin Widing and Diane Walton facilitated a dynamic book club discussion on The World Is Flat by Thomas Friedman.
