Comprehensive Community Initiatives Webinar

Posted by Margaret Lamb - On February 20, 2009 (EST)

The Coordinating Council has recently launched the beta version on an on-line toolkit designed for Federal managers working with the Comprehensive Community Initiatives. We would like to get your input and feedback on the Web site’s features to guide the final revisions in preparation for a public launch in June 2009.

Please join us for a Webinar on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. -2:30 pm ET when we will orient you to the site’s features and gather your feedback.

This Web-based toolkit equips Federal staff to plan, manage, and help sustain Comprehensive Community Initiatives (CCIs), also known as Community Change Initiatives. A CCI is an effort to better the lives of children, youth and families through systems-change work. Among the varied resources offered, you will find guidelines that synthesize current thinking in the field, proven tools, concise answers to key questions, program examples, and links to further information. Although designed primarily for Federal managers, the site may be useful also to technical assistance providers, evaluators, private funders, and community groups.
