Real Time Jobs in Demand: Finding Jobs in a Contracting Economy

Posted by Margaret Lamb - On March 24, 2009 (EST)

The purpose of this Webinar is to present an innovative tool for identifying industry and occupational demand based on real-time data. The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Labor Market Information Director will showcase their new Real Time Jobs in Demand Tool and demonstrate the various uses of the tool. This WIN-WIN Network Community of Practice Webinar is designed to provide participants with enough information to help determine if your state would benefit from replicating the approach to meet the information needs of job seekers, One-Stop staff, Education advisors and other intermediaries helping participants to connect or reconnect to meaningful employment. In addition to a downloadable slide presentation, a standard operating procedure will be available that provides additional detailed information. Before the end of the Webinar, the New Jersey agency will identify a technical assistance point of contact.
