Funding Opportunities Available to WIRED Regions to Serve Disadvantaged Jobseekers under the Recovery Act

Posted by Chad Bullock - On July 01, 2009 (EST)

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), a $787 billion package of spending initiatives and tax cuts, is designed to jump start the economy by investing in children, families and low-income individuals through education, workforce development, safety net programs, and other related areas. This webinar will inform WIRED grantees about the funding opportunities available through ARRA to government and community-based agencies serving disadvantaged jobseekers (e.g., disadvantaged youth, TANF recipients, older workers, etc.).
