A Webinar Orientation for Green Jobs - State Labor Market Improvement Grants

Over the course of the next few months, the Office for Workforce Investment’s Division of Workforce System Support and Business Relations Group will be conducting a series of technical assistance activities including an orientation to the DOL discretionary grant process through a series of webinars and conference calls. Your first orientation webinar is scheduled for January 13, 2010 2:00 – 3:30 pm EST. The purpose of the webinar series is to orient new grantees to the program and financial requirements of their State Labor Market Improvement Grants. Audience members should include individuals charged with grant implementation, such as a Project Director or Program Manager and key staff. At the time of this webinar, if these individual have not been hired, the Grant Signatory should be present. Please have your official grant award with you during the Webinar as we will be referring to specific sections during the presentation. If you have not yet received your Award, please contact Willie Harris at Harris.Willie@dol.gov. Please note: Grantees are required to participate in all Department of Labor/Employment and Training’s training activities as stated in the Solicitation for Grant Application, page 30132.
