WIOA Consultation: Veterans

Posted by Margaret Lamb - On November 14, 2014 (EST)

Serving those who have served our nation is a key tenant of the workforce system. The U.S. Department of Labor is committed to providing robust employment and training services to our nation’s veterans. In this session, we will seek feedback on how the changes to service delivery under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) may impact services to veterans and how the Department should ensure veterans receive the highest quality services available. The Department is excited about this opportunity to listen to your thoughts on how we can ensure WIOA delivers on our commitment to veterans.
