Workforce Solutions, the Lower Rio Grande Valley Workforce Development Board in Texas has operated the Workforce Solutions Online Learning Community to provide customized training opportunities for workers. The program utilizes an in home learning system that blends mentoring, personal development, learning theories, partner collaboration to support individuals and increase their career prospects, employment retention, wages and, ultimately, long-term self-sufficiency.
