Access Points

The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is offering cites, state workforce agencies, and WIRED Regions a new approach to expand access to basic One-Stop services, which translates into economic opportunity for men and women in underserved neighborhoods who want to find employment. Since 2005, 50 workforce areas in ten states have created more than 200 “Access Points” to One-Stop services in local community organizations, libraries, faith-based groups, and elsewhere.
